Building on the extensive experience we have cultivated over many years in manufacturing IT platform products that support the advanced information and communication society, UMC H Electronics is actively expanding into new business domains such as automotive equipment and large-scale industrial equipment, including semiconductor testing systems. Through these efforts, we provide optimal manufacturing support to customers who require advanced manufacturing expertise.
In response to diverse customer requirements, we offer a one-stop solution covering the entire manufacturing process—from artwork design and incoming inspection to printed circuit board assembly, equipment assembly, testing, and final product shipment.

Main Business Activities
Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA)
We support both prototyping and mass production, covering the entire process from PCB artwork design to volume manufacturing. With a flexible production system, we provide full support to meet diverse customer requirements from initial prototyping through full-scale production. Our capabilities include high-density mounting of multi-pin components on large-format printed circuit boards up to 510 × 460 mm in size, with board thicknesses of up to 5.0 mm.
Inspection
We conduct soldering and component mounting inspections using automated inspection equipment, including 3D-AXI and AOI systems. In addition, final visual inspections are performed by experienced inspectors, ensuring consistently high quality standards.
Repair Services
We provide repair services including the replacement of large, fine-pitch BGA components. To protect surrounding components and maintain quality, we utilize localized heating combined with preheating techniques, enabling reliable repairs with short turnaround times.
Equipment Assembly
We support equipment assembly using an electronic assembly work instruction system (e-Assy) and conduct high-performance testing utilizing various testing facilities to ensure reliability and quality.
