Our company was established in 2013 as Hitachi Information & Telecommunication Manufacturing, Ltd., following the consolidation of manufacturing functions for servers, storage systems, and telecommunications network equipment within the Hitachi Group. Since our establishment, we have contributed to the IT platform business through high-quality and highly reliable manufacturing.

Subsequently, with the aim of strengthening manufacturing capabilities through collaboration between Hitachi, Ltd. and UMC Electronics Co., Ltd., we began a new chapter as UMC H Electronics Co., Ltd. on July 2, 2018.

Building on the foundation of high-quality and high-reliability manufacturing that we have cultivated over the years, and leveraging UMC Electronics Co., Ltd.’s extensive production experience and cost-competitive strengths, we have expanded our business beyond traditional IT products into the automotive and industrial equipment sectors.

Furthermore, by combining superior manufacturing quality and reliability with cost competitiveness and a one-stop solution encompassing component procurement, manufacturing, and shipment, we deliver fast and flexible responses to meet the diverse needs of customers both in Japan and overseas.
